It seems like there's really very little rational thought going on in the world these days, so I'm considering making this a regular feature of my blog: Quotes to make you think.  They're not motivational; they're not demotivational; they're not inspiring.  If you want mindless fluff, go elsewhere.  Anyway, here's the first of what might be a really short series.
