The sad state of American thought

Today I saw a cartoon.  It wasn't particularly funny, so I'm not re-posting it here.  Even if it were funny, the comments made me feel a bit ashamed to be American.  In the cartoon, President Obama is standing in front of a sign that says something to the effect of 168 kids killed by my drones.  One commenter actually said that 168 was a small number.  When another commented that 168 was not a small number, and that it was 168 more reasons to hate Americans, yet another knucklehead stated that "they hate Americans for lots of other reasons."  Since they already hate us, I guess it's okay to kill their kids.
